The hotel was a lovely stay with clean, warm, and comfy rooms that were soundproof. The friendly and accommodating staff made my experience enjoyable, even though there was no information about breakfast availability. The brilliant location near shops and bars added to the overall positive experience.

The rooms were lovely and clean, warm, and comfy. It took a few calls to be taken to my room, but it was worth it. The soundproofing was excellent.

I was greeted with a nice temperature in my room, but it got quite hot even with the air conditioning on, and opening the window just led to hearing seagulls after a long day of shopping. The service, from around 11 am to 6 pm, was decent for the price, with helpful staff although lacking a dedicated receptionist during check-in. The central location was fantastic, close to shops, restaurants, and the central rail station, though I found it disappointing that the room was not properly cleaned. The dining experience was limited as breakfast wasn't available before 8 am, and there was a waiting time until the coffee shop opened. Overall, the hotel's amenities were basic but satisfactory.

My room was of a nice temperature initially, but it became quite hot even with the air conditioning on, leading to seagull noises when the window was open.
Service

The service was pretty decent for the price, and the staff were helpful, although it felt new without a dedicated receptionist present at check-in.

7.0/10

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious but not properly cleaned, with crisps and fluff all over the bedroom floor. However, having restaurants within the premises was a nice touch, and the room size exceeded my expectations. On the downside, the noise level was quite high at times.

Rooms
6.0
The room had not been hoovered properly with crisps and fluff all over the bedroom floor. It was spacious and bigger than I anticipated, but noise could be an issue.
Service
7.0
The onsite hours were limited, but accessing the hotel and checking out was not a problem. The hotel owner greeted me but quickly went into a side door without allowing me to leave the security access key, which was inconvenient.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel was convenient for grabbing a beer or takeaway food. It was very close to the heart of Aberdeen, with easy access to the railway and bus stations, shopping areas, and the harbor. The presence of nearby cafes and restaurants added to its appeal.
Dining
7.0
The hotel did not include breakfast in the room rate, which came as a surprise. However, I found options nearby, such as the coffee house cafe, which was a good alternative for my morning meal.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered basic facilities. However, the noise level and cleanliness issues were noticeable aspects during my stay.
